Halo Gates cubensis is a hybrid created by James Cruz by crossing Emerald Gates with TAT Black Cap. According to James, this is the strongest of the "Gates" genetic family. Halo Gates has bumpy white stipes and cream colored dome shaped caps. The top of the caps turns black as the fruits mature.
